The general plan is to ride north from Cape Town along the western coast of Africa to Gibraltar, then across North Africa into the Middle East, and then if I’m still got anything left, back down the eastern coast to Cape Town.
Looks a little something like this:
The general timeframe is (uuuuuupdated):
April: South Africa
May: South Africa, Namibia
June: South Africa, Namiba
July: Angola, DRC, Congo, Ghana, Burkina Faso
August: Gabon, Benin, Togo, Gabon
September: Cameroon, Nigeria, Mali, Sierra Leone
October: Western Sahara, Morocco (possibly a jump to Spain for a bit), Algeria, Libya, Egypt
November: Egypt, Jordan, Israel
December: Israle & Anywhere else in the Middle East they will let me in
January - ???: Sudan, Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, more?.
This plan is both completely arbitrary and subject to massive change. In fact, I pretty much just made it up and keep on changing it- but you get the idea.

Note from mid-August - timeline got pushed back but don’t feel like updating - I will get there when I get there - planning doesn’t mean much when you’re on the road
