The giraffes look very thin, and the surrounding area doesn’t look like it offers much for them to eat. Has this area been dry for hundreds of years or is this a fairly recent situation?
Did you use a telescopic lens to take this pic, or do the animals let you get close?
It’s Etosha National Park - Etosha means “place of dry water” - It’s one of the world’s great natural parks, and animals feed and graze, hunt and be hunted as wild animals.
I used a 70-200mm zoom on those shots at close to 200mm, but the animals were still relatively close.
