…If you’re riding an heavily overloaded motorcycle at 120 KPH at night in in the dark in deep gravel while being chased by feral dogs somewhere in southern Namibia, and you’re pretty sure you hit a bird at high speed that exploded all over the right side of your radiator, boot, and pant leg, but you don’t check until morning after you slept in your motorcycle gear because you were so exhausted and find feathers and bird guts everywhere, you probably did.
…And if you find a lone talon hanging off the rear cotter pin the next day, try not to puke.

Have you considered riding, or riding fast, only when there is daylight, bird-killer?
Are we having fun yet?

Matt, you are insane. Please slow down. What a crazy story. Glad you are okay.
The latest pictures are fantastic. The vividness of the desert colors are so striking; I felt like I was there. I was told that Namibia is really beautiful and that the beaches are spectacular. From these pictures it seems to be true.
Travel safely and we all look forward to your next posting.
Regards,
Michael
